Job Title: Sanitation Technician

Position Overview
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within the facility. This role includes cleaning, sanitizing, and waste-handling duties in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The technician supports operations by ensuring cleanliness in production, warehouse, and common areas.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, floors, surfaces, and facility areas.
• Follow established sanitation procedures, schedules, and safety guidelines.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment for deep sanitation.
• Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals according to instructions and safety data sheets (SDS).
• Operate sanitation equipment such as power washers, floor scrubbers, vacuums, and foamers.
• Remove and properly dispose of waste and recyclables.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate sanitation logs, checklists, and compliance documentation.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience in sanitation, janitorial, or industrial cleaning (preferred).
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation equipment, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends.
