Position Summary

Drives enterprise product strategy for pharmacy-focused digital platforms, delivering measurable business impact through scalable, secure, and patient-centric solutions. Owns end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and execution across mobile, web, and Application Programming Interface (API) ecosystems, aligning cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes. Leverages AI as a force multiplier to accelerate speed, scale quality, and decision-making through data-driven insights and automation. Operates within Empower's hyper-growth, highly regulated 503A/503B environment, ensuring compliance, resilience, and innovation. Sets standards through strategic thinking, execution rigor, and continuous learning agility, influencing stakeholders and modernizing platforms to expand access to high-quality, affordable medications at scale while reducing technical debt and enabling interoperable architectures that support growth, reliability, and superior user experiences across providers, patients, and internal operations globally driving measurable value creation and sustained competitive advantage for the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

Product Strategy
  • Vision Ownership: Defines and drives long-term product vision and multi-year roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities, balancing innovation with regulatory requirements. Integrates AI-driven capabilities to enhance decision intelligence, forecasting, and personalization while ensuring scalability, interoperability, and security across platforms. Aligns stakeholders on measurable outcomes, translating complex business needs into high-impact product strategies that accelerate growth and improve patient and provider experiences.
  • Roadmap Execution: Leads prioritization and sequencing of strategic initiatives, ensuring disciplined execution against roadmap commitments. Embeds AI-enabled analytics and automation to optimize delivery speed, resource allocation, and value realization. Continuously evaluates trade-offs across cost, risk, and impact, maintaining alignment with compliance standards while driving measurable business outcomes and sustained competitive differentiation.
  • Value Realization: Establishes clear success metrics tied to business impact, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Leverages AI-powered insights to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous optimization. Ensures product investments deliver quantifiable returns, aligning execution with enterprise goals and fostering accountability across cross-functional teams.

Technology and AI Leadership
  • Architecture Alignment: Partners with engineering and architecture leaders to define scalable, secure, and interoperable system designs. Advances API-first and platform strategies while incorporating AI capabilities that enhance system intelligence, automation, and resilience. Ensures alignment with enterprise standards, reducing technical debt and enabling reusable, future-ready solutions.
  • AI Integration: Champions the integration of artificial intelligence across product capabilities to enhance decision-making, automation, and personalization. Identifies high-value use cases that improve operational efficiency, patient outcomes, and compliance. Ensures responsible AI adoption aligned with regulatory standards and ethical considerations.
  • Platform Modernization: Drives adoption of modern technologies across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure. Integrates AI tools to accelerate development cycles, improve code quality, and enhance system performance. Leads transformation initiatives that modernize legacy systems while maintaining compliance within a regulated environment.

Execution and Collaboration

Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience leading technical products, with a proven track record of delivering complex, scalable platforms in fast-paced and highly regulated environments.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree in business administration or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and drive organizational change.
  • Deep technical expertise in APIs, system integrations, enterprise platforms, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure, with experience in modern technology stacks and data-driven product development.
