Job Summary

We are looking for (Sr.) Manager, SEC Reporting & Equity to join our growing Finance team. You will play a critical role in the preparation of external financial reporting and equity administration for a publicly traded company. The (Sr.) Manager, SEC Reporting & Equity will report to the Senior Director, Accounting.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 5+ years in public accounting or SEC reporting
  • Nice to have:
    • Pharma background including experience in FDA/GMP regulated environment
    • Experience with Merrill Bridge, E*TRADE Equity Edge, and/or NetSuite

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP

  • Solid IT skills, including management of ERP applications
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) SEC filings, including financial statements, footnotes, and Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A).
  • Assist in the preparation of earnings releases and investor/committee presentations
  • Assist with Proxy and other periodic Form 8-K filings
  • Evaluate all unadjusted misstatements using both the Iron Curtain and rollover methods to ensure no material uncorrected misstatements.
  • Document and implement new accounting standards and technical accounting matters and their respective impacts on the Company's financial statements
  • Support the Company's internal control environment by ensuring relevant controls are operating effectively and appropriately documented
  • Lead the accounting for equity awards (RSUs, PSUs, ESPP, and Options) in accordance with ASC 718 and manage associated SEC filings (Forms 3, 4, etc.) in collaboration with Legal
  • Oversee the daily operations of equity award cycles, including grant processing, vesting, exercises, and cancellations.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems and internal controls
