Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients in long-term care and rehabilitation centers
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Participate in patient care conferences and treatment team meetings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
- Provide education and support to patients and families on mental health issues and treatment options
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and developments in the field of mental health
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling or related field
- Current LPC licensure in the state of New Jersey
- Part-time ( Flexible scheduling available)
- Experience working with older adults and their families preferred
