About the Role:

CHE Behavioral is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team of dedicated mental health professionals. As an LPC with CHE Behavioral, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral health services to older adults in long-term care and rehabilitation centers. Our mission is to increase access to mental health services and reduce the stigma of mental health conditions, and we are committed to empowering our patients and their families to achieve their individual therapeutic goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based counseling services to patients diagnosed with mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, and dementia
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and support
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote mental health and wellness

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Counseling or related field
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively with older adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
