Work independently and as part of a team in a client facing environment.
Maintains laboratory purchased reagents, equipment, and supplies through ordering, logging inventory, and stocking. Determines and responds to material alert levels as required.
Coordinates sample and reagent transfers/shipments, verifying integrity of received materials.
Coordinates calibration and preventative maintenance of instruments/devices.
Scheduling and coordinating calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair work performed by outside contractors.
Review of vendor documentation in support of preventative maintenance and repair work.
Initiate, track, and close work records in BMRAM equipment database as needed.
Performs data entry into quality systems to ensure compliance with standards.
Completes laboratory documentation and reviews logbook data.
Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements and maintains inspection readiness
Qualifications
AAS in a science, business, or related discipline preferred
May consider another degree discipline with relevant experience
cGMP experience is desirable.
Thrive working in a fast-paced environment and can multitask
Can perform tasks within appropriate timeframes while maintaining accuracy
Self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive attitude
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Additional Information
Position is full-time Mon-Fri, 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
Compensation range: $19.50 - $21.50.
