Job Description
Repligen is seeking a highly motivated Scientist or Engineering Intern to join our Process Analytics R&D team for Summer 2026. The Process Analytics R&D group executes new product introductions in Process Analytical Technology and supports existing commercial products, both of which are a critical area of growth for Repligen. This internship offers hands on experience supporting analytics, including spectroscopy, optics, instrumentation, machine learning, basic programming, and traditional analytical chemistry methods. The intern will need to be onsite 5 days a week.

The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $23/Hr.-$28/Hr. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package. Responsibilities
- Design and create experiments for analytical chemistry testing of new products according to strict protocols.
- Rapidly analyze large datasets and report results to the group.
- Run hands-on filtration and chromatography experiments while using multiple analytical methods to collect data.
- Be able to run experiments independently with limited supervision or training.
Qualifications
- Working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, physics, biochemical/chemical engineering or related disciplines
- Interest in or exposure to biotechnology and biopharmaceutical manufacturing
- Experience with basic biochemical analytical methods
- Knowledge of MS Office and ability to produce reports in Power Point
- Good knowledge of spectroscopy and working with large multivariate datasets
- Basic knowledge of programming for data analysis a plus
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomously
- Capability to complete a defined project within an 8-12 week summer internship period
- Willingness to work onsite in Waltham, MA and be comfortable working with many scientists and engineers at different levels of experience and disciplines and backgrounds
