Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide expert pharmaceutical and nutraceutical advice to patients, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapies and patient outcomes.
- Conduct medication reviews and counseling sessions to promote proper usage and adherence.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to deliver exceptional care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative pharmacy services.
Qualifications:
- Current pharmacist license in the state of Texas, in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using pharmacy software and technology, as well as Google Workspace (GMail, Drive, Calendar, Docs & Sheets.)
- Prior experience in an independent or community pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Immunization certification preferred.
- Preceptor experience preferred.
- Familiarity with nutritional supplements.
- Prior compounding experience preferred.
- Flexible schedule, alternating nights and weekends.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to stand for 8 hours
