Assistant Professor (Adult Pedi), Allergy and Immunology – Internal Medicine, McGovern Medical School (Adult/Pedi)

Job Description
McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) non-tenure clinical-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Allergy and Immunology.
The selected candidate will contribute to the department's mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other services.
This position's clinical responsibilities will primarily be outpatient services (adult and pediatric) at the UT Physicians Multispecialty - Bayshore.
Position Key Accountabilities:
• Participating in the inpatient and outpatient clinical care, focusing on diagnosis and management of allergies,
asthma, and immunodeficiency.
• Participating in the education of residents and medical students.
• Supporting the growth and development of clinical and collaborative research.
Qualifications:
• M.D. or equivalent degree
• Approved Allergy and Immunology fellowship program
• Texas Medical license or eligibility in the state of Texas
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Allergy and Immunology.
Experience is preferred but not required.
